SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions govern text messages sent by or on behalf of Wave Law Firm, APC (“Wave Law Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By affirmatively opting in to a Wave Law Firm text-message program, you agree to the terms that apply to the category of messages you selected.

Types of Messages

If you separately consent to non-marketing messages, you may receive conversational or informational texts concerning your inquiry, consultation scheduling and reminders, requested follow-up, document or information requests, and administrative communications related to services you requested.

If you separately consent to marketing messages, you may receive occasional legal updates, firm news, educational information, or information about Wave Law Firm’s services. Marketing consent is optional and is collected separately from non-marketing consent.

Opt-In

You may opt in through an unchecked consent box on a Wave Law Firm web form or through another consent method presented by the firm. Providing a telephone number alone does not constitute consent to receive automated or marketing text messages. We maintain records of consent as reasonably necessary to administer the messaging program and comply with applicable requirements.

Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with the firm and the type of messages you selected. Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless carrier may impose charges under your mobile plan.

Opt-Out and Help

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. After you opt out, you may receive one final message confirming the opt-out. For assistance, reply HELP or call 844-GET-WAVE. We will honor valid opt-out requests for the applicable messaging program.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.

Delivery and Availability

Text-message delivery is subject to carrier availability and transmission limitations. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue a messaging program at any time.

Important Legal Notice

Do not send confidential information, documents, urgent requests, or notice of a legal deadline by text message. Text messaging is not guaranteed to be secure or monitored continuously. If your matter is urgent or a deadline may be approaching, call 844-GET-WAVE. No attorney-client relationship is formed unless and until the firm and client sign a written engagement agreement.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. The date above identifies the most recent revision. Continued participation after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
